I'll join you for a drink in the 'knitting - blah' corner.

Very humorous, every knitter can identify with what you wrote. I am fortunate enough that my Niece has a larger foot than me otherwise I would have to frog that beautiful sock I am working on, I may still frog back the toe and extend the lace a little more (am still debating). It is good to see you post and I shall look forward to your next post - pictures or not!

Hopefully the next knit will be better.

Knitting's like that sometimes.

How are you going to cope?

I have a purple hat that looks brown in most indoor lighting. It is gloriously purple in daylight and in good LED light. Purple plus yellow makes brown. (It's why some older people wear purple a lot; it looks brown because the lens of the eye turns yellowish with age.)

Sorry about the need for ripping.

I've noticed that about 5.
Sometimes, that is.
When I am paying attention to what I am doing.
Otherwise, what's wrong with 5 following 2?

I think we can all relate to having one of those kind of days.

Hope your day went better today.

There was a similar seen at my place this weekend while knitting a lace shawl--instead of purple and brown the yarn was either white or cream. I hope things are more exciting and successful in your neck of the woods.

My knitting progress has been going much the same way lately. Good luck finding a yarn and pattern that works for you.

Oddly comforting to know it's going around. Hope your knitting cooperates very soon!

We all have days like this. Maybe you need to put your needles down, breath and try it again later. Good luck.

Heh. This is why even knitting needs a naughty corner to sit in!
